MARS OPPOSES SATURN & SQUARES URANUS:

WE ARE GOING INTO A WEEK OF SOME TENSION. MARS WILL OPPOSE SATRUN & SQUARE URANUS. CAUTION IS CALLED FOR:

On Thursday July 1st at 9:08 A.M. EDT this restrictive aspect will be in orb for a few days before and after this completion. This will feel like bottled up energy that demands release, and that release will occur in a few days when Mars squares Uranus. Mars wants no limitations. It’s the ego, the aggressive, maleness in us all and the desire for fun, fights and games. Saturn couldn’t care less. It’s all about responsibility and restrictions and when these two come into play together there is a need for compromise. If that can be accomplished, you can get a great deal done in a short time. The focusing of Mars’ energy can be aimed into projects and the possibilities are tremendous. But if there cannot be conciliation and the two sides of the personality are in battle, the frustration it can produce will be counter-productive. The best way to handle this is to find ways to direct your force and to accept some limitations without giving up all of your assertiveness. I have found that the combination of these two planets, either in a natal chart or by transit offers us an opportunity to be laser-like in our focus. Directed energy can do things in a steady way. Look at how we use the force of water aimed in a single stream to clean dishes, building, roadways, etc. Of course they also use it to remove the tops of mountains to get to the coal and minerals underneath, so it’s a matter of how we use power, not just what that power is. Be productive, not destructive and this will be a positive few days. But expect some frustration and limitations.

This is the first in a group of transits that will occur over this holiday week. Because we are in the midst of the Saturn-Uranus square Mars will create hard aspects to both. This can be a very exasperating time and it is followed by the rather explosive Mars square Uranus on Saturday so be careful. There will be people out there who won’t handle this terribly well and there may be some difficult or violent events. Stay safe and enjoy our nation’s birthday celebration. Just remember they might have invited a few people to the picnic who have an ax to grind. Let them make themselves nuts. Try to ignore them and play Frisbee football on the lawn while eating some ice cream. It won’t solve the world’s problems but it may make for some pleasant memories.

MARS SQUARES URANUS:

On Saturday July 3rd at 9:40 P.M. EDT this excitable and potentially explosive aspect will create volatility that can generate some erratic or even dangerous situations. But that doesn’t have to be the case. All these two planets really want is some expression of individuality and the freedom to shake off the restrictions of the recent Mars – Saturn opposition. Because Saturn is in square to Uranus now, any aspect by another planet to one will produce an aspect to the other. So what is really happening this week is that Mars is acting as the trigger to Saturn and Uranus. That makes this a very difficult few days that require close scrutiny and care. This is the Fourth of July weekend with the usual fireworks, and with the underlying atmosphere in America these days it could result in some difficult or angry reactions. There is the possibility of some violence. I hope that isn’t the case. I would rather see us celebrate the birth of this marvelous nation and enjoy the hell out of this holiday. It certainly won’t be a boring weekend. The energy level will remain high and the beaches, parks and pools will be teeming with activity. So enjoy yourself and share the moment with those close to you. This American experiment is flawed and needs to continue to grow, but it still has great potential and keep praying that we will shake off the current distancing and find commonality in our deeper definition of what America and freedom mean.

Thanks for the warning Mitch! I think I will wear headphones, drink champagne and dream!
Blessings,
Gina
