SATURN ENTERS AQUARIUS:

SATURN ENTERS AQUARIUS:

SATURN ENTERS AQUARIUS:

On Saturday March 21st at 11:57 P.M. EDT this most important transit will begin. We all know we are experiencing a paradigm shift in our culture. We see the signs of it more obviously than any could have predicted. Saturn has been in stogy old Capricorn, the sign it rules for more than 2 years and we are in lockdown and isolation. That has had a very powerful effect on our society and on us as individuals. Many of us have felt restricted and unable to move out of our comfort zone for some time, long before this pandemic began. Can anything be more representative of that restrictive energy than what we are all experiencing now? The stock markets have fared very well under this influence of Saturn in the sign of its rulership but will not continue to do so as Saturn enters this unpredictable sign. Remember that radical changes in society rarely begin in a vacuum and often the change will begin in advance of the aspect. And while Saturn will retrograde back into Capricorn for a time between July and December 2020, this first step into explosive and changeable Aquarius is vital to the potential redirection our society is about to explore. For the next few months as this planet sits in the fixed air sign we will begin to see some fundamental and impulsive changes. They have already begun, as we can see, with the Coronavirus. And while this is the trigger that is setting off our redirection, the need for change has been an underlying theme in our world for a long time. Our political direction will start to show some fascinating energy. At the time I am writing this it’s obvious that Joe Biden will be the Democratic candidate, barring some unforeseen event will face off against Trump. With Saturn, the planet of stability, foundation and support changing signs one would expect the outward manifestations to represent the complexity of the times and, I believe a radical change in our path. I have been predicting not only a Biden presidency, but a blue wave in my writings and recently on Coast to Coast AM, where that information was received with some skepticism.

As Saturn approaches the square to Uranus, which is already being felt and will begin to have a larger effect as Saturn changes signs the influence of that powerful transit is already making itself known. But that square will not actually complete until 2021. Those who follow my work know that I have been predicting a two-prong collapse in the economy. First this period of violent uncertainty and seemingly insane market movements we have been experiencing the past few months, and then a massive crash and extensive recession which is beginning now but will take at least a year, maybe two to complete. In my lectures and webinars I have pointed to February 2021 as an important date in this ongoing drama when the Saturn-Uranus square completes for the first time. But as I said, things do not happen in a vacuum. Just as the events leading up to the crash of 2008 pointed to the inevitable, the Coronavirus, the suppression of oil prices, the international trade wars and the decline of many nations into recession territory are all showing where we are heading. Do not assume that a stock market crash will happen while you are resting over a long weekend in the Hamptons. Sometimes it is a melt-down over a long period. That is what we are seeing now. The signs are all there long in advance. Pay attention and take action. There will be opportunities to buy back into the stocks at bargain prices, but I don’t believe we will see real stability for some time.

In our personal lives there will also be radical and unpredictable changes in the things, projects and relationships we have come to rely upon as our foundation. Some people will say goodbye in various ways. Others will feel the need to embark on a new path that may seem strange or inconsistent with their usual attitude. But that’s exactly what Aquarius wants and needs. And with Saturn representing our ongoing structure we can expect variance and redirection. Try not to hold on too tightly to your preconceived ideas. No matter what age you are you need to accept that things will never be the same as they were. Some of that will be difficult to accept, and you may feel the need to bemoan what is lost. That’s fine. We all must mourn in our own way. But some of these changes will be freeing and allow us to move forward in ways that have been stifled for some time. Be brave and take that first step in whatever direction life pushes you. You may not know where you’re going, but you can be sure it will be an adventure with excitement and new challenges. And that will be a good thing. Love Mitch.

thank you. very nice synopsis. my understanding is that aquarius attempts to take care of all. am I right on this?

Thanks, Mitchell for giving your prognostications for health and finances to listeners on Coast to Coast a few nights ago (March 19). I don’t have any stocks, but I appreciated your quick ‘reads’ on so many different circumstances- political, financial, etc. Coast tends to lean a little to right, at times, politically. They try to balance it out, but its part of the “weirdness”– nothing’s very predictable, so it does always keep you in suspense ! Great show, I hope to hear you again soon. I also really enjoy listening to your jazzy music, too– thanks for sharing your album.
